Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. For cards, however, your initial post will need to be six sentences. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.

What are your goals for the new year? TCG and irl! Do you plan to do something exciting or do you just plan to move forward? What would you like to do differently next year? What would you like to keep the same? i resolve to actually put these out on time

Man, that's a tough question honestly…

TCG-wise, I'd like to start mastering decks here soon! And crayons. Earning crayons would be fun. Maybe donating decks as well, once I can figure out what to donate!

As for RL, working this part-time job I've just gotten and seeing if it'll turn into a full-time position is a big new priority for me. It's working out well so far, but it's untested territory for me so far. I'd like to go into this new year less anxious, healthier as a person and looking for the positive things in life instead of drifting towards the negative stuff.

But I'm mainly hopeful that this year will bring good things for my friends and family and that I can start spreading my wings a bit and look forward to life on my own terms.

Mastering decks really fast is kind of something amazing u3u I do hope you experience it soon. There's nothing quite like striking the jackpot! And I hope your job goes well too!

TCG wise, I'd love to finish one of my mass decks before the year is up! It seems like nobody is collecting Hoshi no Samidare cards with me, so that one doesn't look very difficult. However, my Corpse Party and Dangan Ronpa ones are the ones I'd love to finish, even if it seems like everyone else is collecting those cards haha... Once I get those knocked out, I'll probably start some more, though I haven't decided for what series yet. I want to donate decks once a month this year, too, just like I always do, and continue to improve my deckmaking skills!

IRL wise, I have the good old get in shape resolution looming over me. What's most important to me, though, is really flexing my creative muscle this year. I don't write nearly enough, and I'd like to polish my other creative pursuits more too, so I'm going to spend a bit each day working on them!

I may have to fight you for Dangan Ronpa one of these days. Hopefully Dramatical Murder keeps me busy. Creative muscle is just as important as physical muscle so get it in shape! Work it out work it out make it happen!

My TCG goal is mostly GET LOTS OF SAMURAI WARRIORS DECKS OUT THERE, though I also intend to finish out donating as many Hakuouki characters as I can manage, too. ITOU DECK IS YOUR BODY READY... Itou, Yamazaki, Shimada, Amagiri, Shiranui, Kimigiku, Serizawa, Kosuzu, Koudou (lmao god who even wants to collect Koudou...), I...think that's most everyone? I wonder if I could scrape together an Enomoto deck. The only deck people would care about even less than Ootori's...

IRL, I want to find a job where I can actually use my masters degree! I didn't pay for grad school so I could work in retail forever, sob. The market for my field is competitive here because my school is dumping more of us into the job market every year, so I wouldn't mind relocating to that end, but first I'd have to know I'd be making enough money to get by wherever I head to! All these job postings I've seen for jobs in California don't pay enough for the whole...living in California part. Sigh.

If you can find enough Inoue images from the anime or something, I will donate him for you at some point. I'm not even joking.

Mmmm I think I want to work on something new for School. I want to be transfer to a new location, so I want to work really hard in school to do that! (A place bilingual with japanese would be great! How about nice warm Hawaii!)

I want to doodle more, since I haven't been doing much anymore, but at the same time, I think its because I have been very upset recently, so I am hopping for that to change this year as well!

Oh man Hawaii would be so cool to move to if it looks anything like it does in lilo and stitch!

My goals in real life are mostly just preparing to move out. I want to save enough money up to be out of here by later this year. In order to do that, I need to finish up my schooling and get a job. It'll likely just be through a temp service, but I may strike gold and get a summer job as well.

For Colors, I would like to complete my Fatal Frame, Puella Magi and Umineko mass decks. The first two are already fairly close to being finished, but I have a ways to go with the latter. I have several decks that I would like to master, but those are all short term goals, rather than ones that will go on throughout the year. Overall, I would like to continue building up my card collection and mastering decks.

Moving out is hard work but I do believe in you that you can do it! rah rah rah! Yeah, I kind of want to build up my own card collection.

My goal for 2014 is to live somewhere a bit more stable! For the first time in my life this past month, I was homeless for a short period of time. It's not something I recommend, but I'm staying somewhere new now so everything's fine. For now. I'm a bit worried about other things.

My TCG goals...more Suikoden, more iDOLM@STER. I'd like to donate, with others, more Super Smash Brothers and more Azumanga Daioh decks because come on. I also have a really silly and dumb goal, but I'm excited to try for it! That's all for now. I want to donate decks to series I love but aren't on Colors, too.

Yeah please stay living somewhere and not be homeless ;A;. And dear god we need more Azumanga Daioh decks our selection is pretty pitiful.

My goals for the new year are to get a job and move. I finished my PhD in 2013 and have been seeking employment since 2012, so I'd really like to finish that.

I'd also like to write and draw more. I fell short of that in 2013, even counting my dissertation as part of my word count. (One of the perils of writing as I go, even if it means it was over half done when I went into 'ready to defend' mode.)

I hope you can find a new job then! Moving is a big step, I'm about to embark on that again myself so good luck!

My RL goals for 2014 are to get some health issues better controlled, first. Second: to figure out going back to school and actually go through with it this time. I always manage to have stuff come up to stop that, but this year, I mean to do it.

For Colors? I'd love to finish my AKB0048 mass deck! I think it might be a slightly impossible goal, given how many decks get donated to it, but I'm going to try. There are also a few decks I'd like to try and donate - not to that deck, but just in general. c:

Be healthy Jen! Always be healthy! also if decks keep getting donated that just means you've gone up a level in deck collecting and it's getting harder DO IT DO IT.

TCG wise, I'm really looking forward to mastering some decks I started collecting back when I joined. It'd be great to get the most important ones mastered before I hit the 1 year mark in June. My new year's resolution is to start dishing out deck donations monthly again. I want to finally donate TMGS3's Niina this month so that I can collect it in February. Mastering his deck would be a wonderful birthday present! My biggest wish is to become level Chocolate Cosmos before the year ends, but... that's a really huge stretch and not going to happen. But hey, you always need that one goal that fails...!

As always, my goal irl is to lose weight and get in shape. I'm 16kg-ish down from the weight I was last January, but I still have a long way to go. I'm a lot more determined now than I've been every other year when making this ~new year's resolution~. I'm feeling like I might actually be able to do it this time! If I can drop like 3-4kg per month, I'll be at my goal weight when I turn 25 next year. Totally doable.

I'm also trying to force myself to go back to school this spring and finally get that one kanji exam done with. In general, I hope 2014 will be the year when I can let go of unnecessary baggage and get things in order. I already took some awesome and important steps with my health last year, so now it's time to enjoy my new less painful life. It feels so different to start a new year without popping strong pain killers every 4 hours. But yeah, I'm looking forward to improving my quality of life this year! Last year wasn't the best one for me in general, but I'm a lot more positive about this one, since my biggest problems are under control now. Things are looking up for me.

It's funny, I think I'm still collecting 3 decks that I started when I first joined so yeah, get all those decks finished! And I believe in your chocolate goal! Get all the way, shoot for the stars with all your resolutions!

Anyway! My goals for the new year are to try to get a job, and get a place of my own. It's probably impossible, but I will try ( o^o)9

I also want to get back under 110 pounds but huffs i have to stop drinking so much soda to achieve that and I don't want to.

I want to master a bunch of decks this year too and get up to the flower levels!!

Just drink less soda. idk why i'm trying to give you advice i'm still drinking soda don't talk to me.

Hahaha, I went to bed last night going "Okay! I'm going to start off the New Year right and sleep on my back instead of my stomach and wake up early and refreshed!!" and then promptly rolled over and woke up at eleven :P I think in terms of resolutions, mine have to lean more in favor of "do this more/less" instead of absolutes-- it's how in past years I was able to wean off things like excessive apologies every second sentence, and reflexively making a fist without tucking the thumb in. This year, I plan to just keep a positive outlook, smile more, laugh more, be happier (: (THIS WORKS AS A RESOLUTION BECAUSE THE PAST SAYS OTHERWISE OKAY ;O)

At Colors, I went ahead and got started this morning on what I plan to do: collect other decks besides mass!series decks. Because as simple as it is just to peruse other people's trade piles by looking out for set series, there are other characters that I like and want on my post without the rest of the series, even if it means paying more attention to what cards I'm actively looking for. Maybe later in the year I'll get one of those websites where I don't have to manually search and type everything in by hand! xD

Resolutions! 2013 was rough in some ways, but delightful in others. I hope that the coming year will also come with a balance-- there will be things that will be tough. I'm starting a slew of new classes, and I'm about to start the uphill battle that is convincing a professor to supervise my honours thesis. But there are also delightful things to look forward to-- another year with my friends and family, and the renewing of old bonds versus the creation of the new. I resolve to do my best again next year, and whatever happens, I want to be there for my family and friends.

In terms of colours, I want to master my Aki Mass Deck! Which is funny because I'm planning on donating more decks for... basically everything Aki haha. I also want to work on my portfolio, and hopefully master both portfolios! I will also fight hard and collect cards for all my buddies on my buddy list! Lastly, I want to get to know the Colours community better, and hopefully make more friends and acquaintances alike! Let's share in obscure series love!!

2013 was rough but I think we can do so much better this upcoming year! You've got a lot of great goals and I believe in you!

Haah, I'm just hoping I get to move out this year. I've been trying to move out of my parent's place for quite a while... And my goal is to get manlier this year. (haha) But also to maybe go up a little in my job? Not changing it, but getting a better position uwu;;

I'm still pretty new to this TCG thing, but hopefully this year I'll get better at it, and get tons of cards! (haha) I don't think I'll lose interest in this anytime soon; I really love cards haha,,,,,,

Haha, it was great! Don't worry so much about what you're writing <3 Just follow how many sentences and you'll be fine! And TCG gets really easy when you get into it.

I don't have any concrete goals for this year, oops. It's because I hardly ever plan resolutions and if I do, I almost never get them completed on time, like the time I promised myself to actually go to the gym everyday. I occasionally take morning walks and jogs on the beach, but I haven't done them lately. I want to get a job in the graphic designing field soon, though.

For TCGs, though, I plan to complete the palette portfolios by this year as well as get my first masteries for a few decks! Maybe a couple of CCS ones, too, just to round out a few months, including a special mastery for Clow.

I think it's important to know what you can and can't do. And do things that you know you can do. But get more walks/jogs! I know I need more but it's just freezing here.

My IRL resolution will be to watch my diet a little more! I was doing for a while, but I slipped a lot, and now I need to get back on track. I also want to work on my translation stuff more ofc.

As for TCGs I just want to try and stay on top of things mostly... When I'm on top of things it's fine but when I neglect TCGs for weeks on end it's pretty stressful.......... Though I just need to work hard at keeping everything I want to do in balance. WORK, TCGS, TRANSLATION, RP, VIDEO GAMES, ANIME/MANGA, GOING TO BED ON TIME... i can do it

Ugh, I need to do the diet thing. I slipped horribly and just need to get on track with everything. LMFAO you are like me with TCGs we need to be friends who ignore things.

My goals for TCGs are definitely to start buckling down and start being more active. I had to take a 6 month hiatus because of school, but this semester I won't bother. I need something to keep me sane anyway, haha.

As for IRL, it's definitely to improve my studies. Last semester was absolutely terrible, grade-wise, and it's so humiliating I've sunken so low in my academic career. So I need to seriously get myself together and learn how to actually study for once, so that doesn't happen again.

It's amazing how something so exciting and busy can relieve stress. Also go go go with your studies! I believe in you!

My colors goal is to make progress on my AKB0048 mass deck, but more realistically, the decks I donated. I'm down to just one deck right now, not counting the one coming out in this month's release! The only problem is that I'm so slow to notice when someone has gotten a card I need haha. But gosh I'm so glad that the main anime cast has pretty much been donated- I plan to eventually donate side characters and manga prequel/sequel characters, provided I can get scans, but at least I can focus on donating for other fandoms as well. I also want to finish my palette portfolio, but finding cards for the last two decks has been kinda hard haha.

Otherwise, I don't have any real RL goals- I know I'll never be able to keep them, to be honest. I guess if anything, to get back to drawing?

Man, I don't even notice when someone else has a card I want. I'm pretty sure there's like 3 above mine that I want but I'm just doing rewards. I'll keep my eyes out for you!

In regards to TCG, my goal is to actually master a deck! I keep getting side-tracked by everything ever thanks to the holiday season, but I'm close enough! Only a bit more to go hehe. Beyond that I hope to be mastering lots of shoujo/otoge decks in the future!

As for RL, doing well in school is all I really hope for right now so there's nothing really exciting on that front. I'm studying in another province right now, but after a semester I'm thinking of studying back at home - who knows yet! There's that at least haha.

Yes! Master a deck! You can do it! It's super fun and super easy once you get the hang of it and you can start mastering decks really quickly. I mean look at me.

Goals, I find, are only good for setting high expectations for myself that I will inevitably not meet and then be very disappointed over. As such, I don't really have goals, as such. I'd like to get some writing done on the original novel I started last year, but that's really more for fun than anything else.

Colors-wise, once mid-January comes and the holiday rush has stopped, I'd like to get back to making first mastery badges! Those are fun, but graphics programs mean setting aside a larger chunk of my time than fly-by answering games or trading. I'd like to master some decks, of course. And I'm considering whether to donate more Shadow of Destiny decks to add to my mass collection, but there's no rush on that.

This is why I don't make New Years resolutions. If I feel pressed to make a goal rather than just motivated by my own interests, it probably won't get done.

My primary goal is, always, find a damn permanent job. Beyond that, I'd like to write more, and get more involved in the publishing industry, learn to cook more delicious things, and read more books. Or at least keep track of how many books I've read, cause I know there were more last year than the ones I can remember off the top of my head.

In Colors, I'm about to hit my longest mastery chain yet, with eight decks! I'll get that in, once I have my Art Studio cards. I'd also kind of like to achieve a complete mass deck. (At least until more decks come out for the series I'm collecting...) Madoka's a possibility, though there are two decks I still have none of. TWEWY's a possibility, though ditto one deck. Magi is a mass deck, but also a lost cause as far as completion is concerned. There will always be more characters and decks!

Bookish people! Have you tried using Goodreads to track your books? I use it semi-religiously, lol. :x

I'm going to college on Monday! So my big goal this year is to not over-stress myself and to get good grades! I've got a comfy new backpack and I'm raring to go!

I'd also like to become a more organized person - I love running Nakama but I'm fumbled a few times as I've learned how to run a TCG. Now things are running much smoother and I want to do my best to make Nakama a really popular TCG for years to come.

Also, I'd actually like to finish a mass deck this year. :B

Yeah, I've found the best way to get good grades is to not stress too much about it. It just makes things easier. And man, a mass deck... that's so big but that would be so awesome.

I don't do New Year's Resolutions, like, at all. Ever. But I really do want to have a better year this year than last year. The last few months have been exceptionally shitty. So I'm going to move, which is exciting, and get another kitty, which is also exciting. And I'm going to be more financially responsible since I'm single now. (In theory anyway.) So here's to a 2014 much better than 2013 was.

Hey, sometimes goals are just better for some people. Nothing wrong with that! (Also financial responsibility is really hard good luck)

Donate and make all the Gundam Seed/Destiny decks! Step aside, protagonists... time for the side characters to shine~ Then to help with the Dynasty Warriors donation. Kingdom of Wu awaits! (My Zhou Yuuuuuuuu~)

Life-wise, I would like to move forward in an exciting manner, hahaha. Probably will just move forward, like take a different step. Might switch jobs. Going overseas to BUY ALL ZE STUFF. Going to anime cons and BUY ALL ZE ART! I would like to spend time on quality content for my blogs too lol... ;w;

Yeah! Time to make all the great decks! And yes, move forward! But plan it so it works out really well for you.

For Colors, I'd like to complete one of my mass decks! I'll probably finish DMMD first (only 22 cards away from completion). Aside from that, I don't have any solid plans at the moment.

I always make resolutions, and personally find that they're a great way to keep on track with your goals throughout the year. This year I'm making big goals - graduate and find work, prepare for (and survive) our wedding in August - and smaller goals - try to establish better cleaning habits, read more than I did last year (and keep track), make a solid dent in my game backlog, revamp a story I've been writing for a while. Then I break the yearly goals into smaller weekly/monthly goals that are easier to achieve, because while I'm still working toward those big goals, small goals are much less daunting.

I have quite a few goals for RL for this year! First of all to either sort out my current job so that I'm full time or find a new job where I can be. Hopefully one that's closer to home, too. I want to stay on top of my bills and save enough money to buy myself a new laptop for the first time ever. I want to build up all of my relationships, the friendships and the family and my girlfriend and learn more about all of them and share a bit more of myself as well. I want to try eating better, too... Maybe getting a little more exercise would help my health, too!

For colors, though, I don't have nearly as many goals. Maybe one day a kagepro mass deck? Hmmm! They keep coming out though so we'll see...

Those are really good goals! And just make the deck, you can always add more if you have to!
