Introduction
Pot of Gold is a monthly game. The objective of the Pot of Gold is to complete different 'tasks' that will be different every month. You'll get small rewards for completing them individually, but receive bonuses if you manage to complete all of them. How much of the rainbow can you complete?This month's theme is... Revue Starlight!
Rules
☆ Everything collected and turned in for these tasks must be done and logged in between August 1st and September 1st. You get one month and one month only, use it wisely.☆ When commenting here after completing a task, make sure you label your subject with Completed:, as well as the color of the task you finished.
☆ Please give me a link to your logs with every comment you make. Also, make sure you link me all the stuff that I need to check.
☆ Pot of Gold tasks can only be turned in when the round is open, so that means that after 12:01 PM GMT on September 1st, you can't turn in anything even if your tasks were completed and logged in the correct time!
☆ You can format your comment however you prefer. Veth has posted a lovely code here that you can use if you'd like.
☆ If you are using a coupon for your rewards - please link it somewhere I can see so that I can process it when giving out rewards!

It's not exactly secret that sports anime are kind of the only shounen that I actually watch. At the moment, my favorite sports anime is Kuroko no Basket. I would never willingly play basketball myself, but this particular anime of it is fun to watch for me. A sport I might actually consider playing myself is volleyball, though. I remember being relatively decent at serving when I was in school.

So...I decided to check out Kaguya-sama: Love is War after nearly a year of thinking I should probably watch it. I'm not sure if it's something I'd ever binge, but it's something cute to pass the time on days when I'm on-call and am waiting to find out if I'm actually working or not.
Admittedly, I've only watched the first episode of season 1, but my favorite so far is Chika!

i used to do soccer and competitive swimming! pretty much from elementary school through high school. swimming is something i still try to keep up with but i don't have consistent access to a pool, so it's not as much as i'd like. i tried basketball too but i quickly realized i just wasn't built for it (short), and i played baseball until a pretty bad sports injury turned me off of it. i also count dance as a sport, and i took jazz and tap classes after i started doing theater, but i was never really good at dancing
despite coming from a family of mexican folk dancersas for sports anime, i've seen free (i was pretty excited about the idea of a swimming anime) and yuri on ice. i'm probably going to start blue lock soon because soccer?

i started reading blue lock, because talking about soccer made me want to check it out. it's pretty wild! i think it's technically my first shounen sports anime, so that probably explains why it feels so different from free and yuri on ice, which were a bit more rooted in reality. it's pretty fun though and i like the art, so i'll probably keep up with it (or possibly switch to the anime). UPDATE: i went and caught up with the manga, whoops

I used to do a few sword sports; kendo, fencing, ect. Fencing ironically was quite flexable, was how I learned to do the splits haha. I played a few other things when I was super young, but now the only sports I partake in are video games haha. I am pretty pathertic like that. As for watching? No not really, I used to dabble a bit with FIFA but I grew out of it as my favorite players would move around and such.

Earlier this month I started a bit of Lian Qi Lianle 3000 Nian. Its very uh... eh. I love Xianxia type shows, but the pacing was very rushed at times, and unfortunatly its one of those animations from china that don't have the good budget. I finished it but its not something I fell inlove with unfortunatly.

I was esports captain in high school which is as close as I'll ever get to playing one haha. (My team was small and we were pretty bad but it was super fun!) I'm very impressed by athletes but I don't play or follow sports, although I definitely get the appeal. I've always been partial to baseball though :D I used to practice with my dad but I never played for real. My coordination is pretty poor so I'd probably get benched anyways ;;

I'm reading Kitchen Princess! I remember seeing this book all the time at the library when I was a kid so I thought I'd finally read it. My expectations were pretty low but it's better than I expected! The art style is really cute and the characters are so likeable. Najika is a super good protagonist, she's the most relatable but still has a defined and likeable personality. Despite being smart and talented she's always the loveable underdog you want to root for. There's also an obvious reason why she's special outside of her natural "chosen one" cooking skills, she's the only character who's not from a rich background and she doesn't have the same air of elitism as everyone else in the academy - she doesn't care about her status or the shadow of her parents, she genuinely wants to make other people happy.

For the longest time I didn't see the appeal of sports at all! I was never physically fit, and I didn't understand why people enjoyed watching it. It was only well into my adulthood when I started getting into watching speedruns that I went 'ohhh, it's way more engaging when you have some idea what's going on, huh...' So now... I still don't really watch sports, but I have a better grasp of why other people care about them so much. (I still think that team rivalries are a little silly though.)

I've never been an athletic person LOL or really ever did well with sports... I do like to watch basketball now since my bf is into basketball, and although I don't understand everything about the game, it's amusing seeing him react to things that sound like nonsense to me. I've started reading and watching One Piece for the first time! I've never checked it out before... My dad got into OP a few months ago and is absolutely obsessed with it, so I bit the bullet and finallyyyyy put my VPN to good use lul. I actually like it so far! The art style is somewhat jarring to me though, but it's obnoxiously funny in a way that I like.

I don't really enjoy watching sports since it makes me really anxious lmao, especially if it's a team I'm rooting for. When superbowl season comes around I'll watch a few games but if my team gets knocked out then I'm like 'ehhhh' and I lose interest. If it's the World Cup it's even worse, I get mega into it LMAO but that's just because I get all my sports knowledge and enthusiasm from my dad. I finally started Jujutsu Kaisen bc I saw a character that activated my thirst and I watched the first 24 episodes in two days. And now I'm on the movie and then the second season LMAO. I can't pinpoint exactly what I like about it but all the characters are extremely good and the humor's on point and the action!!! Like I know it's just another shounen but I've also binged it in like two days so teehee.

I'm no huge fan of sports, so I currently don't watch anything sport related. The only sport I'm interested in, is horseriding/equestrian sports. I do (uncompetitive) dressage and sometimes a little jump. Horseriding is like therapy to me, as being around animals makes me happy and being active with my body helps me to get distracted from stressfull thoughts. (SPOILER ALERT!)
Already the start of the first episode had me genuinely interested. The story is a little bit confusing at first though, which I find hard to let go of (I always want to understand everything immediately, instead of waiting for the story to come together like a puzzle). After watching a bit more, I understood the story and events better :) It's sad how the main characters/children have a traumatic past. And them finding a new 'family' is heartwarming. Um, until, yeah... They die because of one evil manipulating vampire and only one child stays left. I'm interested in this anime, and right now, on my airplane (yes I have airplane mode on) I'm going to watch more :)

well, about a sport that i would like to play it is actually badminton, it is one of my favourite sport and i played badminton since i was in junior high!! i could tell that i don't watch any sport anime related to it but playing badminton is really fun. i always play it with my classmate or dad if i have time, mostly i am not always free to play but it help me loss my fat too! once i got really bad at it and a teacher and a friend had to lecture me playing badminton again :"D

this month i tried to read the manga tsubasa resovoir chronicle, SPOILER AHEAD *if u want to try it too! it is an alternative universe of card captor sakura the story takes lead of syaoran, a young boy need to collect all of the feathers for princess sakura to get her memories back buuuut! even when he collect all of the feathers his relationship with sakura won't be back as it does before :"D rly sad story (for an alternate universe) but worth trying. there are also 3 other characters that are fye and kurogane along with mokona, with the help of them syaoran is able to collect all the feathers. i didn't read till the end yet but it will be really sad if i do

I used to do martial arts, dance, swimming and other sports growing up before I had an awful knee injury that sort of kicked me out of all of my sports out of necessity. The only one I still do is swimming since it's low impact (and still super fun) but not so much as a sport or in any competitive setting. I'm fine with that though - I think I'd rather play videogames and do artsy type of activities than sports. On the anime front, I don't watch a *ton* of sports anime, but I did enjoy Free! and am kind of thinking about watching Haikyuu and Blue Lock someday.

Given the last new deck release, I started watching the Hell's Paradise anime! I really enjoyed it, but I'm more of a manga person so I think I might stop the anime for a while and look into reading it first (which also has the bonus of not needing to wait for season 2 to get further in the plot). I've really liked their take on the questions "what would you do to survive?" and "what is worth not surviving?" and their attempts so far to tackle the different ways the characters of the series can develop. Aesthetically, the opening is a bop, and the art style has a good mix of typical shounen and charming (and sometimes unexpected) expressions. I don't want to accidentally spoil anyone since the first season came out relatively recently, but if you want a new anime to try this is definitely a good one!

I'm not sporty at all, though I did play soccer as a kid. One time I was goalkeeping and all the action was at the opposite end of the field and I found some kind of mole or vole or something, you know, some "creacher" ish thing on the field by my goal. That was pretty neat. Soccer's pretty much the only sport I've willingly watched too (and ice skating I suppose?) but only around World Cup or Olympic time. I ended up reading all 4 volumes of Our Dreams at Dusk, or Shimanami Tasogare! It's always recommended by people and it's been on my to-read list for a while. I really enjoyed it and would definitely recommend it! It's a manga about a gay teen, Tasuku, who discovers a community center where he meets other LGBT people and learns to accept his sexuality while volunteering to help restore vacant houses with them. It's a mix of coming-of-age drama and magical realism and it's incredibly thoughtful and beautifully drawn. Through the various people Tasuku meets at the drop-in center the story touches on gay and trans issues and the different ways people shape their identities. Since it is a realistic series it does involve serious topics like suicide, being outed, misgendering, etc. but it's a positive and hopeful series overall.

I was at a local comic shop and I saw they had the new hardcover edition of A Girl on the Shore by Inio Asano, so I gave that a spin! And wow. It's quite a story that lingers in your brain for awhile after you complete it. No surprise, but it's kind of a downer like a lot of Asano's other works lol. But I'm generally a fan of his art style, the attention to details/setting, story pacing, and the way he captures character expressions.

Watching Kuroko no Basket way back was what got me interested in basketball! Though I have barely played, I do watch the NBA and enjoy it a lot. I honestly am fine with watching most sports, just terrible at playing them-- buuut don't ask me to play volleyball because I can't for the life of me and just don't like it either.

This month I tried out Punishing Gray Raven! Though I don't tend to stick too long with this type of mobile game, I did find the backstories of the characters to be quite interesting, and it made me curious about what Constructs truly are. Clearly there's a lot to be uncovered, even if the combat itself isn't too innovative.
