Hello everyone, and welcome back to Seiyuu Guess! Our host for this game is Shizuka, a rookie seiyuu who's still learning the tricks of the trade! She's been provided with a description, image, and clip of a certain character, and it's up to you to help her figure out who voices them.




It's October, and you know what that means: spooky season is officially here! Let's count down the thirty-one days of Halloween at Seiyuu Guess with some rounds featuring all manner of ghouls, goblins, and other creatures that go bump in the night!

High school student Mai Taniyama loves a good ghost story; in fact, you can often find her swapping the latest creepypastas and urban legends with her friends in a darkened room after school. That's where she meets this guy, who expresses an immediate interest in their stories. Turns out he's the manager of Shibuya Psychic Research, a paranormal studies group that's been hired by her school's principal to check out the supposedly haunted old schoolhouse. When Mai accidentally gets his assistant injured, he insists that she take the man's place on the investigation to make up for it. Let's hear the clip...

("The thing is, there's this weird rumor that the old schoolhouse is cursed.")
"When I looked into the records, I was able to verify that up until eighteen years ago, while the old schoolhouse was still in use, there would be one or two people that died there every year. It's also true that when construction crews were tearing down the east side of the school, there was an accident where the roof collapsed. However, no workers in fact died as a result. There were five who were injured, but the cause was a workplace mistake. The construction ended with only a third of the demolition that was originally planned ever completed. There was indeed a teacher who died by suicide in the old school, but that was caused by a nervous breakdown. They left a suicide note. Also, the runaway truck last year was caused by drunk driving. That's when construction was brought to a stop. The stories that we've heard appear to have been a factor, too. According to my feasibility study, the presence of spirits here is nothing more than stories. For a place as unlucky as this is, all of the accidents have plain explanations."
