Colors Chat #70

It's time to sit back, relax, and pour yourself an ice cold glass of... milk. All these games are so great and fun but everyone needs a chance to just unwind and talk. So welcome to Colors Chat!
Here, you will get a topic and you can talk about it all you want. Just listen to your heart and write what you feel like. For your six sentences, you'll get 5 cards. And you should always go around and talk to people, see if you can make new friends or old friends with new light on them or you know, just talk with everyone! It is a chat after all.
Today's topic:
Games here in Colors! What do you think of the the current games in general? Which are your favorite games or is there multiple of them? Do you have some "dream games" which you would like to see someday? Do you like the special rounds where you get more additional prizes?
Please keep all comments civil and polite. You might disagree with someone, but please do not start a flame war. THANK YOU and enjoy your weeks!
This round closes on Sunday, March 5th.

And while it is underplayed, I also appreciate that games like acrostic trading exist for the players who have a love of spreadsheets and logs!
As for dream games, perhaps more things where everyone works together or where the cards' colors or decknames matter?
Like Hangman! A phrase is given and players play/lose cards that start with letters to fill it in! Each player could play one card per round and letters are added as they are guessed and everyone wins if they fill the whole phrase!
Or Twenty Questions, where a deck is chosen and players are allowed two yes/no questions each, to determine what deck it is! Comments could be screened except for an "Answer" thread, and questions are unscreened as they're answered!
Or a Colors Punchcard! A chart with things that players can turn in to fill in one spot! For example, a dog, a character with glasses, a blushing character, an orange and purple card, someone who uses a sword, a talking robot, and so on! Players cooperate to fill in as many categories as possible and the more spots are filled, the better the end reward is for everyone who played! But only one person can fill one spot so a bit of strategy and possibly trading is needed!
These are all games I would not mind helping to run, too! I hope that these are not misconstrued as asking the current mods to do even more work for my sake, because that is not the intention! I would not bring up ideas without being willing to assist!

I would suggest them but I am not sure where to do so!I have suggested them!no subject
Twenty Questions sound fun. I think a game like that could be done in a few rounds and offer everyone an opportunity to get the right answer. It would especially be a challenge with all the decks we have!

And that is a good idea for that type of game! Perhaps a Question round where everyone gets two questions - and you can see what everyone else asked so they do not overlap - then an Answer round where you get the responses to everyone's questions and can guess at the deck?

Okay, on top of a lottery, I want this game to happen too.

But what of the people who guess incorrectly? Or perhaps the Answer round can also have questions in case nobody gets it right?
Round 1: Ask 2 questions!
Round 2: Get all the answers from Round 1! Take a guess, plus ask an extra question for Round 3 if nobody gets the answer!
Round 3: Get all the answers from Round 1+2! Take another guess, plus ask an extra question for Round 4 if nobody gets the answer!
First player to guess correctly win a bonus of some kind, and the round resets?
It would be an interesting mix of co-operation and competition!
I am editing to add: perhaps no screening at all might be fun also! One thread for official Final Guesses, one thread for official Questions for the round, the rest of the post can be used for players to speculate or discuss or guess in? If people want to share answers or follow others it would be encouraged, not discouraged - but you are never sure if they are correct!

I think the first person to get the right question should definitely get a bonus of some kind. That would give incentive to participate! Those who get the right answer period could get a better prize than those who get a wrong answer (they may just get a participation prize?)
I agree that this would be a very interesting game to participate in! I also think 3 rounds (or 4 if no one gets the answer) is a perfect amount of rounds.
Oh, I like the idea of no screening and perhaps even helping each other! I think that would definitely be a good game to get us to be more sociable!

I would not mind either way - all of my dream games are mostly wanting more player-to-player interaction!
I have officially suggested them! I felt it was worth a try!
